Assessor Training accredited by Nautical Institute

Seagull developed this module in response to the STCW 95 convention Regulation I/6, which states:
"Each party shall ensure that:
….. those responsible for the training and assessment of competence of Seafarers, as required under the Convention, are appropriate qualified in accordance with the provisions of section A-I/6 of the STCW Code for the type and level of training or assessment involved".

This onboard Assessor Training package allows ship’s officers to receive appropriate training and full certification on board ship.  The training is in accordance with STCW 95, Regulation I/6 and Chapter I, Section A-I/6 and approved by NMD, DNV SeaSkill, Panama, Bahamas, Marshall Island and Malta.

All the required training activities can be conveniently administrated and managed onboard or ashore by using the Seagull Training Administrator. This particular training course package includes a CBT module (# 56) and a workbook containing practical exercises. 
Completion of the assessment and practical exercise must be the sole work of the individual and all documentation stamped and signed accordingly by the Master or an already qualified onboard Assessor.

Seagull will issue a Certificate of Competence to the participant on successful completion of the course.
