This Company Notices feature in the Seagull Administrator is simply an electronic bulletin board that enables you to communicate in a safe and controlled manner, messages of specific importance to your seafarers and to get assurance that the messages have been received and understood.
Company Notices can automatically be added as a competence requirement in the Competence Management section. The messages can only be edited and uploaded as a company notice in the office version of the Seagull Administrator. Company notices and the corresponding requirements are exported from the office and imported onboard. When a seafarer logs in to start a training session he/she will be asked to read and confirm that he/she has understood the message. The seafarers are only able to view or print company notices onboard. This ensures secure handling of information in your company.
