The Crew Evaluation System (CES online) is an assessment tool used to evaluate the theoretical knowledge of seafarers with the objective to identify needs for training. It consists of a question database with five thousand multiple choice questions specific to the knowledge areas defined in STCW. CES will assist you in the screening and recruitment process and to measure the knowledge level of existing officers and crew. It can also be used as an integral part of promotional strategy. All is now available online for easy access from different locations

Online Administration
The administrative part of the program has the following key functions that are available via the web:

• Enter applicants Start CES test for applicants Schedule or start CES tests for existing crew
• Transfer CES records from applicant to crew database
• Print test certificates and reports
• Company Specific Test Editor

Available CES Tests
The test function offers pre-defined test types with advanced randomization of questions to avoid users memorizing specific tests.

The following tests are available:

• STCW Test, pre-defined
• Detailed Test, pre-defined
• Company Specific Test, to be defined in the Company Specific Test Editor
• Create your own company specific tests by using the editing function available in CES Online.

You may develop all the questions or use questions from the existing CES database, or a combination. Available Reports The following reports are available: ·
